Bloody Brilliant

If you’re looking for a book that seems to automatically turn the pages for you, “The Well of Tress” is the one! Starting out in the jungles of the Amazon and spreading all the way down to the streets of Little Havana, and up to Manhattan and the “Island of the Dead”, Scott tells the story of several individuals who’s lives all come together with the force of one unprecedented storm.

You find yourself torn by the thought of what you yourself would do to save the life of someone you love. Would you risk the lives of hundreds, thousands, or even millions? In this book, the answer is yes, and I simply couldn’t put it down. In a clever way, Scott has us rooting for the bad guys almost as much as the good guys, just to see why it is they are the way they are. What do they have planned? Who are they really?

I read it when I cooked, cleaned, and drove. I woke up in the middle of the night and read. Without giving any spoilers, all I can say with conviction is that you’re in for a wild read that leads you down dark dilapidated prison passageways and through the decaying mind of its inhabitants as well as its guards. Every character is deliciously flawd and perfectly rounded. Read it, you won’t be disappointed!
